when she showed up, i knew she looked familar but when she said her surname was grey I nearly fell off the chair. Someone said before a while back on another site about which characters can leave and can't and because it's grey's anatomy (apart from the book with similar name) you couldn't get rid of meridith. now there's a new grey so if meridith does go it can still have the same name. I really hope she doesn't end up with derek, he belongs with the original grey.

I don't think he belongs with lexie at all. But I like Addison a lot more than I like Meredith. Meredith is self-conscious and whiny, whereas Addison is assertive and witty. However, I don't think Addison and Derek belonged together either. Meredith and Derek are that couple that you root for on a show, even if you don't like either of them (like Rachel and Ross on friends--Ross was super annoying). Do you really think there's a possibility she would leave the show?
