Think the wedding looks like it's going to be beautiful, both callie and Arizona look wonderful in their dresses! Looks like it'll be trouble with the parents though!

"Think the wedding looks like it's going to be beautiful, both callie and Arizona look wonderful in their dresses! Looks like it'll be trouble with the parents though!"Why are you saying there will be trouble with the parents? If memory doesn't fail me, we haven't even met Arizona's parents yet, right? They should be appearing on the wedding for the first time. As for Callie's father, he was against the relationship at first, but now he has fully accepted it. I don't really expect any trouble from the parents, but I could be wrong... You never know... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Why are you saying there will be trouble with the parents? What, you aren't spoiled yet? I'm trying to stay away from spoilers actually, and yet I know about the parents trouble. Resulting in you-know-who escorting you-know-who down the aisle. Do you find this valuable? |

Ok, so I've seen all the preview clips already and now I see what you guys mean about parent trouble. So they first solved the "problem" with Callie's father, and now they have to solve another "problem" with Arizona's father. At least it's not both of them at the same time, already! It seems a little off, though, because judging by the speech that Arizona gave to Callie's father, I would have thought that Arizona's father would be more supportive, but we shall see. I'm sure it will all be fine in the end.I'm also posting the sneak peek videos for whoever hasn't seen them yet and wishes to. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yeeah it seems odd, maybe it's because of the intoduction of Callie's mother when it was just her father that Arizona spoke to originally.

So, no one here yet? Wow...Don't Derek and Zola look so sweet and cute? Awwww... I think they totally do! I mean, of course I thought it was kind of weird how Derek and Meredith skipped the Calzona wedding, and specially how they decided to finally get officially married on that specific day, but those Zola moments totally made up for it. I appreciated the way the show made a point on how it's not how official or legal it is that makes marriage work or be meaningful. I know it's not an original topic and even kind of a cliché (specially Bailey's speech to Callie), but in the end, we had parallels between Derek and Meredith's post-it marriage, their now official marriage, the Calzona marriage and even Bailey's marriage. All in their own different ways. Oh, and Callie's father returning to the wedding was totally expected and you could see that from a mile away, but still good to see. I didn't expect that attitude from the mother, thought. What a total prude. Wow... So, it is almost confirmed that Teddy will be off the show now indeed. Too bad. Things are tense between her and Yang, but it will no doubt be sorted out before Teddy leaves. Speculation is on about who will be the new chief resident. I can't really predict anything, besides Yang *still* being the most "predictable" one, against all odds at this time. This week's biggest humorous moments were between Avery and the chief around those mice! LOL I also like the tension going on about Karev being onto Meredith about messing with the trials. I mean, I know Karev probably won't spill because he also has a lot to loose himself, but still... I also wonder what this will mean for MerDer when Derek (almost inevitably) finds out... Good loose ends until the finale. Do you find this valuable? |

"So, no one here yet? Wow..."Yeah, the episode I've been totally nuts about for many weeks now and I wasn't the first to post about it. Crazy, innit? :) Stuff has kept me busy - friends' birthdays, and my grandparents' Diamond Wedding Anniversary - so I haven't been able to watch the ep yet. I'm gonna watch it now... Arizona's dad: "Why is the sperm donor here?" <-- err, dude?!?Callie: "You'll like it, it's very churchy" <-- Haha. I love Buffyspeak. Wow, Arizona's dad *really* doesn't like Mark. Holy eff, the bigotry of hardcore Christians... Callie has found an absolutely wonderful partner. The baby has three dedicated people who love her very, very much. But all that doesn't matter to Callie's mother, she's just being... well, a bigot. Whoa, after that speech, I'd want Bailey to officiate my wedding too! :) Aaaaaand Derek and Meredith get legally married. Now I can't wait to see what's the next thing MerDer loonies will whine and bitch about all the time. Oh wow, Callie looks great in that wedding dress. Though I've been looking at pics for like two weeks now... they don't do it justice. Seeing her actually walk down the aisle... wow. Can't go without some Callie humor though :) Now that is just cool - contrasting the coldness of a legal wedding with an actual commitment ceremony. Because it totally fits. A legal wedding is just a formality. It has no profound meaning. Actual, *real* commitment doesn't need that formality. Meredith and Derek had real commitment before already, and the only reason they now went through the formality is because it's a requirement for adoption. Aaaaaaw, yay for Callie's dad!! And Derek really seems to have bonded with that little girl. Do you find this valuable? |

"1) Don't Derek and Zola look so sweet and cute? [...] of course I thought it was kind of weird how Derek and Meredith skipped the Calzona wedding [...]1) The skipping the wedding part fits with Meredith's monologue - the universe works in weird ways. And yeah, Derek and Zola are cute. 2) Love the way you described that. Totally agree with everything. 3) Well, who knows what'll happen. But yeah, signs point to Teddy exiting the show. I must say, I don't really mind. She's being an ass. Christina was not just "being lucky" with saving Callie, and I agree with Christina when she says Teddy feels threatened by her. 4) It possibly won't be Yang exactly because it'd be predictable. But though I loved how April stood up to Stark, I don't see her as chief material. Alex fits the most I'd say. 5) Haha, yeah. And nice touch giving mice letters. It's not exactly naming them, which would be too personal, but it's not as impersonal as numbers. 6) Yep, that's all drama setup for future eps. Do you find this valuable? |

"1) Holy eff, the bigotry of hardcore Christians... Callie has found an absolutely wonderful partner. The baby has three dedicated people who love her very, very much. But all that doesn't matter to Callie's mother, she's just being... well, a bigot.1) Yeah... When I first saw that, I was expecting Callie's mother to come to her senses before the episode was over, but somehow she didn't... That was a total surprise for me. The writers didn't take the easy road on that one, that's for sure... Maybe Callie's mother will make it up to her somehow before the season is over, if that's at all possible at this point... 2) As a Bailey fan, I feel the character has been loosing more and more meaning, purpose and screen time as the seasons progress, sadly. Bailey's role these days is only a pale shadow from what it was on season 1 and closer to the beginning, so it's good for me to see these little things they give her to do, even though in this case I didn't feel it was anything too special, because, like I said, I felt the speech was even kind of cliché... I was kind of surprised that Callie was convinced that easy, but it was definitely for the best. 3) I know, right? Those scenes with Derek and Zola really put a big smile on my face. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

But with so many new characters that have been added over the seasons, it's inevitable that some other character's screen time will suffer. It's another reason I'm ok if Teddy will exit the show - it'll be less crowded. We're losing Lucy too, because it looks very much that Charlie's Angels will be picked up. Ok, Lucy wasn't a regular yet, but who knows what would have happened. Do you find this valuable? |

Finally have watched the episode! Thought the wedding was fab, although was sadden by the fact that Callie's mum couldn't bring herself to come back. Loved the scene between Arizona and Mark when she was upset about her brother. Yes Derek with Zola was sweet as you say, but I found it a bit awkward as Meredith really didn't seem taken with the idea, especially in their final scene - she just stood there awkwardly.

It's another reason I'm ok if Teddy will exit the show - it'll be less crowded.Okay, if Teddy leaving means more screen time and meaningful storylines for Bailey, I will support it, then! Indeed some of the oldies may suffer similar losses or some character derailment. For example, I feel that even thought Mark is now a father and his daughter has two mothers, I think it's been way too long since he last went chasing tail... Just sayin'... About Lucy leaving, I feel sorry for Alex, then. They really seemed to be hitting it off, and Alex is turning out to be a more and more likeable character, even though he tends to act stupid every now and then. Do you find this valuable? |

"Yes Derek with Zola was sweet as you say, but I found it a bit awkward as Meredith really didn't seem taken with the idea, especially in their final scene - she just stood there awkwardly. "That could also be because, frankly, I don't think Ellen Pompeo is such a great actress, so it's possible that she didn't convey the emotions she was supposed to convey well enough. I thought her staring and open mouth look when Derek first told her he wanted to adopt looked a little too silly! LOL However, I mostly think that scene was still done well enough, because Meredith hardly even knew the baby at all yet. It's not that Derek knew Zola all that much better, but he had clearly bonded with her in a way that Meredith still hadn't had the chance to do. It's not just because Derek told her he wanted to adopt that Meredith had to immediately bond with the baby. I say give her time. I just hope the adoption process won't be disturbed when Derek inevitably finds out that Meredith tampered with the Alzheimer trial... I know the two things are not directly related, but it should still be a significant bump in the MerDer relationship, even though Meredith acted for honorable reasons... Do you find this valuable? |

I know, crazy thought :). But he did. There's just one "tail" he wants now - Lexie. 2) Yeah, he's still a jerk every now and then. But I too think he deserves some personal happiness, he's had his share of crazy, that's for sure. Do you find this valuable? |

Time passes... Lexie really seems to have set his head straight and stopped him from sleeping around at last, even though there was already a time when not even Lexie stopped him. I trust they will be together again before season's end. The trailer for the next episode seems to hint a little in that way to me, by the way. Do you find this valuable? |
