"I think after two or three of such dates, it sorta became a ritual wherein she would entertain Henry with funny stories about how crappy those dates are. That, and bring him good food, the only good thing about the dates. Though in a way you're right, it is a bit evil. But hey, she made it clear more than once that their marriage is just a business arrangement.
