The new blondie you mention must be Dr. Lucy Fields, Callie's ob-gyn doctor, played by actress Rachel Taylor. And yeah, sure, she hooks up with Alex. You can tell that from the very first scene they have together and how they share the elevator shortly after.

There's one big problem though. Rachel Taylor has been cast in the new Charlie's Angels reboot. She'll miss two eps on Grey's to shoot the pilot. Pray that Charlie's Angels won't get ordered to series (it's a reboot, so pretty much by definition it'll suck) so that she'll be able to return to Grey's for good.

The only reason anyone should watch those movies is for comedy, gag relief and stupidity's sake, and the video game they once made "based" on the franchise was easily labeled as one of the worst of all time. Do we really, really need a reboot from the old TV show these days?... Geezz... Do you find this valuable? |

"(it's a reboot, so pretty much by definition it'll suck)"Why would you say this? The only reason Charlie's Angels was picked up to series was because the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 is insanely successful. I personally think it's a great show, and I'm confident the same thing could happen for Charlie's Angels. Besides, I would rather not judge a television series before it airs. It is being developed by the creators of Smallville, which was one of my absolute favorite shows during its run. It's already being reported as not-so-campy and crazy. Three women solving crime and kicking some serious ass; that's not a bad idea in the least. Veteran television directors have already been hired and the cast is a bunch of very funny and talented people. Rachael Taylor was smart for auditioning for the part; I'm sure she'll be terrific in it. Do you find this valuable? |

"1) Why would you say this?1) Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, Melrose Place. 2) Haha. Not remotely. Hawaii started quite good, but now it's getting it's ass kicked by Castle. Maybe the novelty of seeing Hawaii has worn off. In numbers, Castle finished the season with a 3.3 demo rating (so not much lower than Grey's), Hawaii with 2.7. Relative to other CBS shows, Hawaii is directly on the average. 3) That is a very good point, I fully agree. I'm just being skeptical based on past experience with reboots. I personally found Knight Rider and Melrose Place to be quite adequate. Can't say the same for Bionic Woman, I never watched the original so I wasn't really enticed to watch the reboot. What about them didn't you like? When I said insanely successful, I meant relatively when concerned with other networks. And I agree that Castle was awesome. Big fan of Fillion. I didn't actually watch Melrose Place. But it didn't have any critical acclaim and tanked spectacularly. Not even bringing in Heather Locklear made a difference.About Knight Rider, I actually liked the pilot. But then seeing the actual show... it was beyond ridiculous, terrible writing, shallow characters and plots. Bionic Woman too has absolutely terrible writing and plots. Casting Katee Sackhoff as the other bionic woman and not the main one was a dumb move too. Because Katee acted circles around Michelle Ryan. "When I said insanely successful, I meant relatively when concerned with other networks" <-- Relatively to anything, Hawaii is average. Nothing more, nothing less. Didn't start that way, but that's where it is now. Do you find this valuable? |
