Episode 7.17 This Is How We Do It - Talk about it here

March 24th on Grey's:

Richard is desperate for Derek and Meredith to accept Adele into their Alzheimer's trial, but will Adele stand in her own way? Meanwhile Mark and Arizona have conflicting ideas of the kind of baby shower Callie wants, Teddy is freaked out when Henry has another health complication -- leaving them both a little exposed -- and the competitiveness amongst the residents for the Chief Resident position is amplified when Richard receives the green light for his diabetes clinical trial.

----
I know this comes as an extremely preemptive thread, but since the summary and the promo photos are already available, I thought I should put it up. This way I won't forget later.
The baby shower should be providing some fun, and Henry and Adelle should be providing the drama, it seems. It will probably be a good balance between both, as always.

Soooo... I guess this episode didn't generate too many reactions from the fans, did it?...

Indeed Arizona should keep her eyes on the road! I was already thinking there was no way this could have worked in real life without a crash, and then it actually happened! LOL! After watching the preview for next week, seems like this is gonna be the grounds for the music event episode from Callie's point of view.

On another note, I never really connected much with Adelle, but I was actually feeling sorry for the woman this week. It could be indeed that she doesn't have Alzheimer and these lapses of memory are just normal for her age. We could still be in for a surprise on this one...

Other than this, yeah, some more of Teddy and her "husband" and Karev and Lucy. We'll still have to see much more of Sloan's reaction to Jaxie, though... Looking forward to it!

Oh, and the chief delegating on Owen to pick the new chief resident didn't make much sense, imho... That's my only real criticism here... I understand the need to trigger some humor with Christina, but it doesn't seem like a rational and professional choice one would do, because indeed it makes her a too awkward of a (possible) choice. Christina would definitely be the best pick, if you ask me, but now I just don't know anymore...

The end of the episode is why I don't watch much tv any mroe; everything is just too predictable. When I realized it wasn't a 5 second crossfade clip, I knew Callie and Arizone were going to be in an accident. Granted, they needed something catastrophic to lead into the next episode, but did it have to be so predictable?

Adelle having alzheimers would actually really irritate me. What are the chances of both of Richard's women getting it? Seems predictably cruel to Richard on the part of the writers. It could be other things, though. Adelle's degressing health reminds me alot of what my grandmother went through (a couple of things happened, but she didn't not have alzheimers.)

I hope Henry's okay. I like this guy, and his and Teddy's relationship represents a nice change of pace within the affairs of Seattle Grace's staff.

I find as Mark gets older I <3 him a little more. I'm glad they've devloped his character beyond sex-crazed and "slept-with-my-best-friend's-wife" drama.

Ticked off with April giving into the peer-pressure regarding Stark. It killed what could have been a good friendship (possibly relationship). Hopefully the writers won't turn him into a butthole after this.
