Episode 7.16 Not Responsible - Talk about it here

Meredith must choose between her fertility treatments and her eyesight when she begins having trouble seeing, Mark makes it clear to Callie and Arizona that he takes his role as father-to-be very seriously, and April discovers there's more to Dr. Stark than first appears.

Ooh, I've been waiting for this thread...Lucy: "It's so nice that there are three of you." <-- Yeah, like totally! One thing is sure though, that kid will never have it boring! LOL I'm on Teddy's side here: "End the relationship, or you don't get the lungs." I get they're in love. But someone else, who wouldn't expose the lungs to such a risk, could just as well be in love too. And Lexie is right, it would be disrespectful to the family of the lung donor. The Three Musketeers, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Avery: "You really wanna be dating a guy, two women and a baby?" <-- But of course! One big happy family! :)) Avery: "Nobody has just one soulmate. That'd be such a dumb system." <-- Haha. But he's kinda right you know. It *would* be a dumb system. Callie: "I thought I was supposed to be the cranky hormonal one." <-- Good one. And I don't know what it is, but I though Jessica Capshaw looked amazing in that scene. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, the hiding of Avery in the shower was awesome! When Lexie insisted April should use the downstairs bathroom, I went like "Why?" followed by "Ooooooooohhhhhhh!" even before the reveal! Brilliant Mark: "I want you to imagine for a minute what it's like to negotiate with two women. Two!" <-- Poor guys. It seems the women have the pants on in *all* their relationships. :) Do you find this valuable? |

3) Also on Teddy's side. I loved it when Lexie told the girl that being with him was like taking a gun and killing him, because that is a really good analogy for it..... I didn't really understand why Teddy was so sad. I get that she was breaking two people in love but I don't see how she would relate to that....4) That was one hilarious quote! Avery is quite a good shrink... 5) Yes, it seems true. But there is always one person we love the most out of everybody else. When he told her he would be in the line of people wanting to date her, that was so sweet :) But I still want Slexie.... 6) Arizona did have a point there.... Callie got everything she ever wanted, maybe not exactly in the right way, but she has her dream. Whilst Mark lost the woman that he loved and Arizona is having a kid she didn't agree to, with a man she never loved :( 7) I only saw why she wanted Kepner to go back down when I saw Avery.... I was like LOL and then I was so sad :( cuz of Slexie.... 8) Poor Mark.... I feel so sorry for him.... He is just trying to be there for his baby.... After all, he is the father, not the cool uncle.... Do you find this valuable? |

Poor Lexie.... She was just standing there when Mark was talking about how it's his baby and there could be a problem with the baby, and how he would be there for the baby even if it needed special needs care. I mean, like Lexie doesn't already know that it's his baby, he just has to go over there and fight about it right in front of her!!!! I kinda hate him right now!!! Her face when she turned to them and said the rate of miscarriages or something like that :( She looked so sad and Mark didn't do anything about it..... I feel so sorry for her. And I actually do think she should be spending a while with Avery. They actually look really good together, and Avery is so super HOT so..... Mark better not do anything even more stupid then knocking another woman up during the next few episodes, or I think Avery might be a keeper.....

I didn't mean Mark should leave his baby, of course not. I just think he should try talking to her. Even if she was the one to leave him, he was the one who screwed up, and he is the one that should try and fizz his relationship with Lexie. I'm starting to think he doesn't love her any more since he did ask Callie to marry him, in a way, completely forgetting about Lexie's existence.... I just think he should try talking to her, ask her how she's doing, instead of getting Avery to do so..... Do you find this valuable? |

You can't hold that against him. 3) So she'd blow him off again? Or be snarky with him? She knows damn well how he feels about her. She knows he'd accept her back immediately. Also, it's because of her rejection that he slept with Callie in the first place. Oh god, I just thought of something... how will he react when he'll find out about her and Avery? Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!! Do you find this valuable? |

You guys can post the weekly threads yourselves, you know? Then you won't have to wait for them! LOL;) In fact, I'm definitely gonna need you guys to do it now, since Wild-Kat is leaving the site by the end of the month. Anyhow, I had my fun with this episode as usual, even though I felt it didn't move too much forward... The only real development anywhere was Stark and April, even though we kind of knew that already from the promos... Stark is the Grinch... LOL I still mantain the *ugh*, though... The guy didn't do much to redeem himself... Could Stark somehow improve? Probably... And no offense at all to the Slexie fans (such as SuperJ), but I do think that Lexie fits so much better with Avery than she does with Mark... I know it's only gonna last as much as most relationships last on Grey's, but still... What should we call that? Avlexie? Lexavery? You guys more enlightened on other forums may be able to help out here... Indeed Mark's reaction to Lexavery or Avlexkie can be intense... I don't blame Lexie for not wanting to date two women and a guy right now... There's too much of a crowd there, even the three of them as it is. Lexie is entitled to find her own family and happiness. Do you find this valuable? |

So I share your continuation of the *ugh* and agree he has no redeeming qualities. 3) Burn him!! :)) 4) Hmm, Avery is his last name actually, his name is Jackson. So... Lexon? Jaxie? :)))) 5) Yeah, even though I'm a Slexie fan, I kinda have to agree. Lexie doesn't want to join the Big Happy Family™ :)), so she should and deserves to find happiness elsewhere. She also said she was leaving the site for me to look after it, so I'm definitely gonna need you guy's help! All the help I can get is appreciated, actually! I made you and SuperJ writers here yesterday because I'm counting on it! The site demands several weekly updates (at least) as the episodes come along. PM me if you want to know more, because we shouldn't go this much off-topic here. 2) I think they have to improve the guy if Starkil (that sounds a bit off and I know I'm using a last name here) is to be going anywhere at all. April is too much of a nice girl for the change not to happen. If he doesn't change and April still likes him (she said yes to the date, apparently), then it would be April's character changing way too much. 4) You are right I had forgotten that these fan names are from the first names. He cares about her, and is there for her, understands what she needs and seems to always say the right thing. She deserves a hot guy that will do that for her :P But I'm still a Slexie fan!!! 5) Also loved it :) I think Lexie is not prepared for a baby... I wish she were, but especially not with two other women, and when the baby isn't even hers... I just feel really bad for her, just like I do for Arizona, they are not living their dream :( @Gusar: Well, she blew him off because of what was going on with her father.... I mean, finding out your really old father is dating a 20 year old tatted up wh*** isn't something that happens every day... They should just talk, no matter who goes to who (but clearly it will have to be Mark cuz of Jaxie) :( But yeah, thinking about it now, I can't hold that against him.... He was just looking out for his baby and he just found out so..... Do you find this valuable? |

That's just really cold-hearted!1) I think it's a trend, at least on american TV shows, to blow this whole thing out out of proportion. There are numerous ways for the child welfare services to act besides taking the kids away from their parents. They can just keep some dibs on the family in question, make regular visits to the household, provide advice, have the parents over for interviews, provide financial support, all those sorts of things. Even if it comes to indeed taking the children away to institutions, in the end it's like Stark said: they only do it if indeed it's considered to be in the child's best interests. Stark was just being cautious, strict and objective, even thought there were details he didn't know, but those were for the services to investigate and decide. I didn't see too much harm there. 2) Now Thatcher's new girlfriend is a tatooed up wh***?! That's maybe what they wanted to make her look like at first glance for someone who has severe prejudices against tattoos, but I don't think they even succeeded at that... In the end, she looked pretty sweet and caring to me. Too big of an age difference can indeed be an issue, but I'd say here not so much. Do you find this valuable? |

Though personally... Jaxie sound totally weird :). In a fluffy way. 2) I just thought it was funny to use the sign :). But well, we can trademark it now - Arizona, Callie and Mark (and Lexie if she decides to join in) are now officially Big Happy Family™ :)) 3) I fully agree. The "tatted-up skank" stuff was just Lexie lashing out. But in the end even she saw that Danny is a caring person. 4) Nah, he's fully correct in that it could be considered sexual harassment. I think she said yes because she's curious to find out if there could maybe really be a nice person under there. Do you find this valuable? |

Also, I did a marathon of season 7 yesterday (not all eps yet, at 3:45am I went to bed :) ), to refresh my memory about a few things... and in one ep she mentions neuro as the field she's most interested and most experienced in. But you know how all these people are, they're gaga for surgeries, they'll fight to get into as much as possible of them, whatever the surgery. :) And LOL @ "chaperon the chief Shepperd" Do you find this valuable? |
