Sheesh, either everyone is gone from this place, or they're not aware yet that the new year's hiatus is over. Anyway, my usual quick listing of first impressions: Arizona: "Body block him Karev." Karev goes into wrestling pose... ^ Awesome! Welcome back Arizona!! And let me also say JCap looks amazing! OMFG, Christina saved the shooter!! Aaaaaaaaaa! The irony... Bailey (to God): "Sorry about that bastard thing..." <-- LOL And then, when all the people showed up and sang... man, what a powerfull moment... Stark: "I hate this place." <-- yeah, they're a bunch of lunatics. But they're our lunatics. And fighting them will get you nowhere. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

In Portugal I had to wait until it was past 9/8c which is in the middle of the night so I had to wait until right about 45 minutes ago. I loved this episode! It is the best of this season so far! 1) YANG IS BACK!!!!! :D 2) I also loved the Stark quote - "I hate this place" and Alex's body shield scene was hilarious 3) Bailey's moment was also really funny when she apologised to God 4) Arizona was so sweet in apologising that way but Callie does have a point, she only flew half way across the world to see her because she flew half way across the world away from her... I just want them to be together so bad! 5) I loved Meredith, when she told Derek about the "I'm your eye for an eye. Shoot me instead." scene, I just think it should have been more powerful. They didn't even talk about it except for a couple of hugs and kisses. I just wish that scene would have been further explored. 6) I watched all three available trailers and I was just so excited to see which one had Cristina in it, and there she was. I know I already mentioned this: YANG IS BACK!!!! 7) Arizona's face when the Chief tells her she'll be working under Stark - she immediately stops laughing :P 8) Mark and Lexie are back together!! They make one of the cutest couples on the show!!! <3 9) I really think Teddy is going to fall for that guy she married, sort of like what happened between Denny and Izzie except they actually have the chance to make this work and I don't think any LVAD wires are going to be cut any time soon. Still, I remember him having some kind of medical condition.... 10) Avery was really sweet when he went to talk to the shooter's mother, but I think that it was kind of stupid because he was trying to make the mother feel better when he wasn't even able to stay in the OR, which would have been more productive than small-talk but still sweet... Jan 8 2011, 10:17 AM EST I gotta keep saying that it is indeed amazing how this show balances and mixed high drama and tension with perfect humor moments. I think this is one of the reasons I like it so much. You're in the middle of a highly intense life and death situation, and all of a sudden you're laughing out loud at something! Precious. My favorite laugh this week was Karev's "body block" moment! @SuperJ, I thought it made sense how Avery talked to the shooter's mother, because he had previously spoken with Karev, who told him he would still want the doctors to save his baby brother no matter what he did. They kept teasing Calzona, but it will all come together soon enough and the gals will be a couple again, pretty sure. Capshaw looks considerably more chubby now, wouldn't you say? It's natural, though, I know. She has a new mother's glow. It was indeed also very good to see Yang back in the game, at very long last, even if it took an event of this magnitude. Going fishing does wonders, it seems! LOL It was quite amazing how absolutely none of the patients died. Shonda sure created some major payoff for the season 6 finale tragic events, didn't she? Good for our "lunatics" crew! And Stark... Meh... I'm sure he'll leave the show real soon and Arizona will be head of pediatrics again. Only thing I still didn't like was Teddy getting married the way she did, but that's nothing new already. I also though that Owen, as the witness, wasn't shocked or committed enough to talk some sense into her, but whatever... Post reply Do you find this valuable?

( sorry bout the little hiatus, sometimes life can be a bit of a kick in the teeth XD) And boy did I enjoy this episode!!! The irony of Cristina saving the shooter, the fact that NOT ONE PERSON DIED ( which is a big thing for Grey's y'know) and my poor Calzona :'( anyways I have much to spoil on if anyone else wants to hear if they haven't already :D Y'know what really pissed me off this episode? Teddy's 'Marriage' to Denny 2.0... We've had this story line before!! I bet the only thing they're going to change is that the guy will live and then they'll fall in love and get married properly and everything will be fairydust and butterflies!!! I'll pass thank you... And poor Calzona, even though they had that gorgeous little talk near the end which made me squee like the little fangirl I am, by the look of next week's sneak peek, it ain't looking good :( What am I to do people? Karev's talk about his brother got to him. Yeah, he left the OR. But after what Karev said, and the shooter's mother simply said "He's my baby", Avery saw the light. It was very big of him to do so. Jan 10 2011, 3:11 AM EST Well from what I've heard if you haven't already: Shonda posted a tweet saying that Calzona will find a way back to each other but it's going to get ugly first... Also, (POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILER) There is a possibility that Callie is pregnant with Mark's baby after their little fling and if this happens it will totally screw up any chance of them getting back together. However, there is also news that a mcbaby is being considered in episode 13 and there couldn't be 2 baby storylinesmat once.... Could there? But OMG the first one, the Calzona one shows the WHOLE thing Callie tells Arizona - not just the "I'm not playing hard to get. I don't want to see you. I don't want you in my life!!!!" thing. I sure as hell hope Callie isn't pregnant with Mark's McBaby because it would be soooooo messed up! Sure, it would bring in some of the extra drama that I would love, but how would Calzona survive after that?!?!? Calzona!! We need you!!! PS. Jan 10 2011, 4:58 PM EST Even if it may be fan fabrication, I think I would weirdly be sort of OK if Callie was pregnant with Mark's baby somehow, a McBaby... One thing is for sure: Calzona is meant to happen, so they will get together soon enough, even if they have to make some high drama first. Then, if the baby were Mark's and Callie's, it could still work because they are the ones who have been wanting to have children the most for a long time now, and Arizona could understand and go with it, because the conception happened while she was away... Arizona knows she screwed up, so she can't be all too hard on Callie right now... She's the one who most wants Callie back, no matter what... Even if Callie was pregnant... I don't know... I know they already kind of did this new interns thing on season 4, but all our favorite residents still look so young to have interns of their own, don't they? Apparently the definitions on this wiki aren't set for those to come through, so I don't get them.
