Hehe... You started today, and I started last weekend. Well, I joined last weekend, really, without even giving too much consideration if this was too active or not. I'm already a member of several other Wetpaint sites, so this is one more for me. I check here and there almost everyday. I have just finished watching the whole show on a rampage from the very beginning and I hoped this would be more active because this is a very popular show, but truth is there can be fans in many other spots on the internet besides this one, right?

"Oh gosh I hope not I can deal with Izzy going easily but never Meredeath,Christina or Bailey! I thought she came across quite whingy complaining about her work scheduale in Grey's esp in times where people would be happy of a job never mind the kind she was fortunate enough to have." Heh, I said the show would not be the same without Pompeo because she plays Meredith Grey and the show is called "Grey's Anatomy", so... It's not because I particularly like the character, because truth is I don't, not that much. I prefer almost any other of the regulars over Meredith. I feel she is basically and mostly just... bland... I dunno... About Heigl's schedule, well, she complained about 17 hour work days, so I can relate to that, no matter how much they pay you or how much you have the show to thank for your fame. She wants to move on. Do movies now. In this sort of business, they have to take their chances when they come along.

Meh, at least, I would be seriously disappointed. Bailey is definitely my favorite character and my avatar tells that, right? People will think I'm a girl and I'm not. It's a "risk" I have to take. LOL
Bailey brings humor, professionalism, nazi badass, and a soft spot all at the same time. I loved her "surgical field preparing" stuff on the latest episode!
xD" I know I just adore Bailey! She just kicks ass by far my fave character in the show I love her little rants and her one liners =)

Ok...I love this show and have been watching it since day 1 but it is not the same without T.R Knight playing the character of George...They MUST get him back!! Pay him higher, develop his character better...whatever it takes, PLEASE get him back!!!!!! :((((( I know they killed his character off but they could just have it that it wasn't him and he left for the army and had no idea he was declared dead.....

I miss George too he was originally one of my favourite characters however I still love the show without him. He never really had a decent storyline in season five and season six.

Highlights? Hmmm...
Bayley's big "third date" with her new love and her "surgical field" preparation. Precious! xD
Mark wants to be an all-out family man now... Weird, but I guess age gets to you that way.
Owen seemed a little out of his department... I mean, isn't he the trauma guy? Why did he have to go do that surgery and compete with Richard like that? Don't get me wrong. It was fun to watch all the bickering and "double agent" Christina! The woman is twisted and able to kill for a big surgery!
Callie and Arizona's first significant bump on the road to be... Or not? We shall see...
Poor Lexie... I feel for the girl... Don't we all? I mean, sure, the writers made her to be the all-round good and nice girl we, the good hearted people root for. And it works.

I think it'shorrible the way the writers ended Georges character. My wife and I are Grey's addicts now.....I have so many opinions and thoughts on the way the story line goes......the writers missed the mark on George. He is the show as far as I'm concerned. Grey's won't be the same without him whatever the writers do now.

This thread is old news by now, but meh... Here go my two cents anyway...
I also felt for George's departure, but specially the way it happened. I mean, they could have just let him go to the army (completely sudden and out of the blue as it was) to never be seen again, period. The brutal disfiguring in front of bus death was horrible, unnecessary and unworthy of the character. I guess the writers wanted a bang, and they kind of got it.
As for the character's importance, well, I felt he had long lost his central role on the show, and frankly he was getting kind of too weird on the relationships department. For the humane person/surgeon at the same time, we had Izzie already. True that now she's gone too... Well, Alex has been a better guy now and Bailey is all freaky with the anesthesiologist guy. Even Mark wants a family and babies now... -_-

Yes, apparently Bailey used to be a minnow (oh, I just learned a new word, thank you :)), and I found it sort of believable, if you discount her hair at the time... -_-
Her tiny height being a big problem, she learned to prevail and speak her mind from Richard ("Who told you to be quiet?").
She just kind of overcompensated for it a little, and now she gives lectures. A nazi with a soft spot these days.
I just love her character. She's my absolute fave and the best source of humor and precious lines in the whole show for me!

Can anyone tell me what sound was at the end of 6x16? It was when Mark saw Alex and Lexie coming out of the on-call room and Mark walked away. All the websites say it was by the Sweet Serenades, but that song was earlier in the episode and this was definitely a different song.

Thanks for everyone's help. The song I was thinking of was Ali Harter - Untitled No.3...but thanks also for the suggest of the Mike Doughty song, I actually already have one of his song's that was previously on Grey's. Thanks for the help!

did anyone else notice, especially at the end of the show when ellis says "you can't toast a dead irishman with a sodapop, richard" it sounds almost EXACTLY like meredith's voice.....I swear to god it was dubbed or something.....does anyone know if it actually was???
