Background Vocals
I enjoy the shows, however, (and others seem to agreed with my point of view), background vocals become a distraction and competition for a scene. Private Practice is another show that promotes vocal renditions as mood music. Law and Order runs continuous theme music in the background that often becomes annoying and I'm a professional musician. I love music, but vocals have their own arena to listen to. When you add a vocal as a background theme it demands attention and in turn detracts from a performance. Your mind wonders to the vocal. Silence can be just as effective for a scene, too. Yes?

Hi everybody! My name is Wild-Kat and I'm one of the moderators of this Grey's Anatomy Fan Wiki! I'm a long-time fan of Grey's...since the very beginning, in fact! My favorite character is George (and I'm still mourning his demise), and of the ladies, my favorite is Bailey!
I live in Seattle, and get a kick out of the way either Pike's Place Farmer's Market or the Space Needle is clearly in view from the windows of Seattle Grace Hospital. Also, I find it wildly amusing that it's always sunny when they are on a ferry! All of this, my friends...total FICTION!! LOL!
