What We Know:
First appeared in 1.08 as the Nurse that Christina told George to sleep with to get over Meredith. George ends up getting syphilis. We find out that Olivia was already seeing Alex when they first dated. She is known as the "Syph Nurse" by the interns. She also makes a bit of an enemy out of Izzie for a while when Izzie walks in on her and Alex together. But despite all this she has redeemed herself and is now an important member of the supporting cast. She is the most known Nurse in SGH.

Relationship Roller coaster:We find out that she was already seeing Alex when she started dating George. However she gets syphilis from Alex and passes it on to George. This puts a dent in their budding relationship. She is devastated when George breaks up with her over Meredith.
While Izzie is seeing Alex she sleeps with him in an on-call room (she doesn't know that they are seeing each other at the time.) Despite this she still obviously has feelings for George.


Secret: She had a relationship with Alex before George asked her out. George gets syphilis and tells Olivia, she later tells George she was seeing this other guy before him, but wasn't sure how serious they were going to be so she ended it with him, George asks who the other guy was and Olivia simply looks over to Alex and George flies in a rage at Alex, yelling at him "You gave me syphilis".

She doesn't really have any other secrets.

Olivia gets fired during the first round of layoffs when Seattle Grace Hospital merged with Mercy West Medical Center.
