|Losa78||Does ANYONE still come here anymore?||15||Nov 12 2011, 10:47 AM EST by Danielle_Monique|

It makes me sad to see how dead this wiki has been lately. We keep getting new members all the time, but nobody seems to contribute. I reckon there has never been too much activity here (at least since I joined), but it seems to be getting more and more dramatic these days. Not a single post from ANYONE (!) since season 8 started... I don't even feel motivated to update the pages anymore...
So, if anyone still comes here, please post something on this thread and let us all know you still care about this wiki and why. Remember that everyone is welcome to do all sorts of contributions they want and if you want to be promoted to writer, just ask! Any ideas to eventually improve activity here are also appreciated.
So, is anyone out there?

I know I have posted that this site is dead, but I'm still somewhat hoping that someone will maybe care to discuss this one with me.
I'm on the edge of my seat as much as the next guy for this whole current hospital crisis, shutting down, being acquired by Pegasus or our crew and whatnot. I feel the last few episodes have been quite exciting in this department, and the end of season buildup is not about people dying this time, but about the hospital itself dying. We all know it won't, but still, it's been suspenseful to me.
However, I can't help thinking that the whole thing is somewhat artificial and something that our good doctors are "causing" themselves. I mean, the whole thing started because each of our plane crashed doctors was awarded a *15 million* dollar compensation *each* and the insurance company wouldn't pay... For starters, I have to say "only in America"... I mean, srsly?! 15 million *each*?! WTF?!
Anyway, even so, if our doctors wanted to avoid this whole crisis, why don't they just accept a (very much) reduced compensation? I mean, why don't they settle for, say, 1 million dollars each and call it a day? Why do they have to be this "greedy"? Maybe the hospital wouldn't have to go under if they did that, right? The whole crisis happens because the doctors won't settle for less than 15 million each... That's sad...
See, I like the whole drama and tension, and the Harper Avery Foundation takeover right now, but I can't help thinking it could all have been so easily avoided by our very own good doctors... They feel themselves that the compensations they were given are way too high... Aren't they? *Waaaaaaaaay* too high?
