The Grey's Anatomy TV series is created by Shonda Rhimes. It debuted on ABC as a midseason replacement on March 27, 2005, immediately following Desperate Housewives, another award winning TV Show for ABC. The series revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey, who began the show as a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, as well as her relationships with fellow interns, doctors, staff and family. Intense accurate medical drama can be seen through out the TV series with a subtle touch of comedy at the side. Coupled with great direction, beautiful soundtracks and superb acting from the cast, Grey's Anatomy grab good TV ratings in primetime television and is currently on going its Season 4 showing. "This is something that time off (writers strike) really gave me some prespective on-whenether or not we could do it, how we could do it, that it would be amazing to watch," Shonda says.
