Recap of Events:

Meredith stares at the ceiling in abject terror after her latest one-night stand, Steve shows up at Seattle Grace with priapism. Or, in layman's terms, when his erection from the previous evening fails to return to a flaccid state. Things go from bad to downright horrifying for Meredith when Derek is called in for a consultation and the origin of Steve's condition is revealed. His bizarre condition and the circumstances leading up to it result in ample awkwardness between Meredith and Steve, Derek and Meredith, not to mention Dr. Bailey, Cristina, and all combinations therewith. Meanwhile, a woman who took fertility drugs and is now carrying quintuplets becomes overwhelmed by the myriad medical issues involved in her high-risk pregnancy. Izzie, Derek and Addison tend to the patient, Dory, as tension becomes palpable between the surgeons and the mother-to-be as well.

Alex’s shortcomings in the sack frustrate Izzie, who was finally coming around and ready to get it on with him. She needed sex now, and he can't produce. Then, he shoots himself in the foot by making out with Olivia -- and getting busted -- in an effort to get his groove back.

Dr. Karev's problems are not limited to his personal life, either. Already shaky from learning he failed the boards, he again shows his incompetence and arrogance by administering the wrong dosage of medication to one of his patients, who had already called his attitude into question.

And Cristina gets keyed. Not her car -- but when Preston has a key made for her and leaves it on the counter, she's left wondering why he would go to this effort and whether or not she should take that step. Preston suggests that she might want to look at the key as the first step... toward moving in together. Emotionally challenged as always, Cristina shows Dr. Burke the pig sty where she lives, in an effort to show how different the two of them are. Being Dr. Burke, of course, he's accepting and loving just the same.
