Season 1
  • Met Derek as a one night stand in the Pilot. Never knew who he was until she showed up for her first shift as an intern and he was an attending physician.
  • Befriended Christina Yang and became her "person".
  • Fell in love with Derek Shepherd
  • Met heartbreak when Derek Shepherd's wife, Addison Montgomery-Forbes-Shepherd, to whom he was seperated from, came to Seattle Grace to help with the TTS case the chief, Dr. Richard Webber called her for.
Season 2
  • Tried to move on from Derek after he broke her heart by waiting two months to tell her about his wife, Addison Montgomery-Forbes-Shepherd, Meredith met her on the last episode of season 1 where Addison introduces herself and tells Meredith "and you must be the woman who's been sleeping with my husband"
  • Heartbroken, Meredith binges on tequila and sleeps with the wrong men including her roommate and close friend, George O'Malley which temperarily creates a rift in their friendship.
  • She and Izzie adopt a dog, Doc.
  • Meredith begins dating Doc's veterinarian, Dr.Finn or "McVet"
  • Cheats on "McVet" with "McDreamy" at the prom and loses her panties.
Season 3
  • Started by confessing to Cristina that she lost her panties at the prom.
  • Has her appendix removed
  • Chooses between McVet and McDreamy
  • Nearly loses her life when she falls into Elliot Bay while saving someone who was in the ferryboat crash. Doesn't swim and finds herself dead and in her afterlife.
  • Her mother, Ellis Grey, dies.
  • Breaks up with Derek after Burke leaves Christina at the altar.
Season 4
  • Begins to attempt to have a relationship with her father, Thatcher Grey and stepmother Susan Grey.
  • When Susan comes to Seattle Grace with a case of the hiccups, she defys logic and seems to have every possible bad thing happen to her and dies, Meredith tells her father and he slaps her in the face, essentially ending their relationship.
  • The season finale shows Meredith telling Derek they should be together and telling him that they could be "extraordinary together rather than ordinary apart"

i love her she is my favourite by far. she just lights up the room when she smiles (which is not that often).
and i love her as Ellen, her performance in moonlight mile is just stunning. i recommend u watch it! Grey's is my life! i annoy everyone that doesn't like the show with it. my latest saying is Bertie Knox rox (Bertie Knox was Ellen's name in moonlight mile)! LOL! = )
