The much awaited debut season of the hit medical drama about life among a group of first year surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital plays like a cross between E.R. and Scrubs. As Narrated by Meredith Grey, an ambitious and serious young doctor following in the footsteps of her mother, a brilliant and famous surgeon now succumbing to Alzheimer’s disease, it’s an addictive but light soap opera of a funny medical show, with plenty of energy and style to go along, cool pop soundtrack, and the usual romantic complications among the life-and-death crises that face the young doctors every day. Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers and T.R. Knight play her fellow interns, Chandra Wilson is known here as “The Nazi” (aka their attending physician Dr. Miranda Bailey) James Pickens Jr. the head of surgery, and Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey are the young, attractive and talented surgeons of the staff of the Seattle Grace hospital. Grey's Anatomy Season 1 is amongst the best premier season of a TV show ever to debut in ABC's line of prime time shows.
