Should she stay or should she go? Meet Nora Zehetner

10/26/2009

ReedDespite an episode filled with chaos and the glorious exit of some Mercy Westers, Nora Zehetner's ballsy character, Reed is still on staff.

So who is Nora Zehetner, and have we seen her before? Yep, we certainly have. Nora's bio includes Eden McCain in Heroes and Laynie Hart in Everwood, and I care to bet that Nora's character Reed, just might keep her place in the Seattle Grace staff directory.

What's your take on Reed --great for Grey's or please show her the door?

T.R. Knight and boyfriend split up

10/23/2009
"Grey's" much-missed George, T.R. Knight, and his boyfriend of two years have called it quits, many sources report. No word on the cause T.R.'s the amicable split from
Mark Cornelsen, but Mark was with T.R. two weeks ago at the opening of T.R.'s first post-"Grey's" project, a stage musical called "Parade."

TR Knight with ex-boyfriend Mark CornelsenT.R. and young Mark (he's only 20 now, and a UCLA student) met a couple of years ago at Matthew Shepard Foundation awards show. After Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DiRossi married in 2008, the pair batted down rumors that they would also tie the knot. Just a 10 days agao, T.R. talked with Ellen about his desire to be a father. Guess he and Mark won't be daddies together.

IIt's all in the notes...

10/19/2009

Isn't it interesting how very recently, the relationships on Grey's Anatomy hinge on a note?

Last season, we got what we wanted, albeit not exactly what we expected. We got the frills and the glamor of a Seattle Grace wedding, but not the matrimonial joining of Derek and Meredith, but rather Alex and Izzie. Not worry however, because sans the candles and poofy white dress, Derek and Meredith did get married--committed--scotch-taped together...whatever it is you call it when a couple commits to one another via Post-It note.

Of course, now just a season hiatus and a few episodes later, we find ourselves witnessing the "unfolding" of one of these relationships--Alex and Izzie, this time through a note in a the locker.

Katherine Heigl a Top Earner!

10/15/2009

Grace Notes: The Grey's Anatomy Fan Blog - Grey's AnatomyKatherine Heigl, according to Forbes, is at the number two spot on
Prime-Time's Top-Earning Women list, bringing in over 18 million a year. She's only second to Tyra Banks who brought in over 30 million.

Over the last year, between Grey's Anatomy, movies, and endorsement ventures Katherine has used her diversified portfolio to do quite well for herself. And not only has she shown profit at the bank but she's bucked the trend in Hollywood with critics denouncing her controversial stances on roles. She withdrew from the Emmys last year and denounced her role in Knocked Up as sexist. Either way, she's proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. She does well on the big and small screen and has made the transition back and forth exceptionally well. Not many TV stars can make the jump to movies and do well. Those of us watching from season one have seen her talent all along and are not surprised.

Baby Boom Hits Grey's Anatomy Cast

10/13/2009

The cast of “Grey’s Anatomy” has most definitely been bitten by the baby bug, with Ellen Pompeo welcoming her first child on September 15, Katherine Heigl completing the adoption for baby daughter Naleigh on September 17 and now news that Eric Dane is expecting a child with wife Rebecca Gayheart.

That's the lowdown according to Access Hollywood. So who's left? Why George, of course! Despite T.R. Knight's heart-wrenching exit last season, George, still very much part of the Grey's Anatomy in the hearts and minds of fans, tells talk show host Ellen Degeneres, "I want a baby."
