Relationship Time Line

Season 5

He saved a limo full of cigar smoking men, he preformed a tracheotomy with a ballpoint pen. He has a big gash up his thigh and Cristina is the doctor to repair it, only Owen has other ideas and grabs the staple gun and starts stapling his thigh shut, and he asks Cristina to finish the job for him in parts he couldn't reach.
Owen leaves for Afghanistan.
A few months later he is back and he is the new trauma attending at Seattle Grace Hospital.
Owen calls Cristina, "Christine". He gets the residents to save pigs after he stabs them.
Owen suffers from a bad case of PTSD he wakes one night and starts to choke Cristina in her sleep.

Season 6

His PTSD gets triggered more when his best friend Teddy arrives at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital.

Season 7

Cristina and Owen were married in the Season Premiere, Cristina wore a red dress, to represent blood.
Owen and Cristina move into an old firehouse.
Cristina finds out she is pregnant.
Owen and Cristina fight over Cristina deciding to have an abortion.

Season 8

Cristina and Owen go and terminate the pregnancy together.
They share a Chinese meal together and comfort each on the bathroom floor after suffering from food poisoning celebrating Owen being promoted to Chief of Surgery.

Cristina: My dad died when I was nine. In a car accident, I was with him in the car. While we waited for the ambulance, I tried to keep his chest closed, so he wouldn't bleed so much. When he died, my hands felt his heart stop beating. That's why I do this. It's also why I win all the contests. The patient's name is Tom. [leaves]
Owen: Single malt scotch.

Cristina: I'm sorry. We lost him. The patient. I'm sorry.
Owen: I don't need you to be sorry. I don't need you to be sorry. I don't NEED you ...
Cristina: Alright, alright.

Owen: Seems like you're short of a friend today, so I thought I'd fill in.
Cristina: Whatever. Colleagues aren't friends, they're competitors.

Cristina: You've got some problems. You've got some big problems.
Owen: Yeah. Yeah, I do. Will, you go out with me anyway?
Cristina: Yes.

Owen: I planned the whole evening, last night. A real date. It was a clear night, one of the five Seattle gets all year.
I was going to take you to the West Point Lighthouse and we were going to watch the Northern Lights together.
I'd like another chance. I want you to give me another chance.

Owen: As a rule, if I'm showering with a woman, I do it without my clothes. And if I get in her bed naked, I don't pass out. And if I-
Cristina: It's okay.
Owen: It's not.
Cristina: It's not, but you don't have to talk about it.
Owen (to Cristina): You should wear your hair up more. Shows off the back of your neck. I like the back of your neck.

Owen (to Cristina): I call her, alright. I call my mother, once a week. I haven't told her I'm back, she thinks I'm calling from ... I keep the conversation short because I can't bear for her to know that the son she sent off to war is gone. He's gone. And if I just got in my car and drove the six miles to see her, she'd be so ... sad. And she would look at me in the same way Beth does, now. Like I'm not there. The only time I don't feel like a ghost is when you look at me, because when you look at me, you see me. You see me. This is me. This is me. Please, Cristina, see me. See me.
