What we know:
Stubborn, driven, competative, cut-throat intern who does everything for surgery. Has some issues with dealing with her feelings, but has started to grow in that especially in the last two seasons. Meredith is her "person".

All the episodes in Season 3 where she covers for Preston Burke's hand injury after he is shot. She starts to do surgery next to him, eventually conducting complicated surgeries for him so as not to let his secret out (that his hand shakes). The stress of this monumental lie and coverup is finally too much for their relationship to withstand, and she comes clean--the same day that Dr. Burke is asked to be the next Chief of Surgery. Obviously, Cristina's admission put a wrench in that plan, so the race for chief is opened to a wider search.

Relationship rollercoaster:
Her stormy relationship with Dr. Burke started back in Season One when he quietly handed her a cup of coffee. From there they have played a tug-of-war with their emotions, with Cristina always making Burke work for her love. (And he does.) He finally proposes (Episode 313) but Cristina. However Burke leaves Christina at the altar in the season3 finale leaving Christina devastated.

Current crush:
In a relationship with the well-respected attending and head of Cardio-thoracic surgery of SGH, Dr. Preston Burke.

Burke and Cristina are now engaged although she didn't get a chance to tell Meredith, her "person," before Meredith rushed to the scene of the ferry accident and fell in the water.

Secret?
She had a secret one time. She was pregnant and didn't tell anybody. She is a very hard preson to get in to, and she keeps the most to her selves.

Defining moments:
After Meredith wakes up from her near death experiance, Christina tells her about her engagement to Burke and says "Your the one person i wanted to tell!"
