The stress of this monumental lie and cover-up is finally too much for their relationship to withstand, and she comes clean--the same day that Dr. Burke is asked to be the next Chief of Surgery. Obviously, Cristina's admission put a wrench in that plan, so the race for chief is opened to a wider search. |
