Worried about his failing eyesight, Webber confides his fears to Derek, who makes a startling suggestion. After a night of passion with one of the nurses, George becomes the latest victim of a sexually transmitted disease that has inflicted several other members of the hospital staff. Burke discovers that his best friend Bill is a patient at Seattle Grace, a fact that casts unpleasant aspersions upon Bill's wife. And Izzie and Cristina are caught in the crossfire as the family of an alcoholic bickers over the man's medical treatment. But the big "money scene" in this final episode of Grey's Anatomy's first season occurs at the very end, when Meredith discovers to her chagrin that she is definitely NOT the only woman is Derek's life.
