Recap of Events:
On tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, Alex finally learns the truth about Rebecca's medical condition and it's about time! I'm still having a hard time believing that she made the whole thing up. It seems so unlike her but then again, I guess none of us really get who Rebecca is. Meredith tries to get out of therapy and Cristina continues to act out, struggling to get over Burke completely. More Madonna songs?
No such luck. Tonight's episode kicks off with Cristina holding a foreign object in her hand. A vacuum. Seems the stress of living in Burke's shadow has brought out her need to clean.
Webber's mentor, who has gained the respect of several SG doctors, is coming in for surgery and he wants it to have the highest priority. Derek and Meredith's patient, who is about to undergo their clinical trial, has reservations about going through with it. She wants to wait for her boyfriend, Andre, to come to the hospital so she can talk to him before undergoing the procedure. Rebecca shows up at the hospital and Izzie confronts her about lying about the pregnancy.
Derek's patient's sister tells her that there is no Andre and that her tumor has caused her to make him up. Rose tries to figure out why Derek has been distant since they last had sex. Webber enlists the help of the male staff members to win over his wife. Izzie finally tells Alex about Rebecca but he doesn't believe her. Meredith tries to get her chart back from Dr. Wyatt but she'll need to make an appointment first, hence, continuing the therapy that she's trying so desperately to quit.
Cristina flips out on Lexie, saying that Meredith hates her and doesn't want to talk to her. She also loses it on George who was always Burke's "guy". Sloan tells Callie that if they're going to sleep together, they're going to date too. Ew. Webber tries to convince Hahn to operate on his mentor, Walter. She doesn't want to be the one who kills him so she refuses to do the surgery. Derek's patient is frustrated that nobody believes her about Andre.
Lexie confronts Meredith in the bathroom, saying that she forgives her for failing to be the big sister she hope she'd be. Meredith responds by scheduling a counseling appointment. Rebecca demands that Sloan give her a boob job but he says that he can't operate while she's pregnant. George reads Webber an amazing email that he wrote to Adelle on his behalf. Sloan refuses to sleep with Callie and asks her if she's ever thought about kissing Erica Hahn. Dr. Wyatt tells Meredith that she's careless with her life and will die if she's not careful. Meredith gets her chart back and storms out of the office.
Hahn successfully operates on Walter. Derek and Meredith sit and wait for Andre to show up at the hospital but, of course, he never does. The patient admits that she knows he isn't real and breaks down. Bailey and her husband have it out over their son, who has been punching people in pre-school. Izzie shows Rebecca an ultrasound that shows that she has no baby. Alex comes in and tells Izzie to get out as Rebecca bursts into tears and apologizes for losing the baby.
Cristina tells Lexie to stop being so nice and toughen up. She fires back, saying that while Cristina sat on the floor writing charts, she scrubbed in on Walter's surgery, something nobody can take away from her. George offers to watch Tuck so that Bailey can talk things out with her husband. Alex surprises Izzie by inviting Rebecca to stay with them for a while so he can take care of her. Derek and Meredith lose another patient and Andre is actually there to hear the bad news. He's real after all.
In order to rile Sloan up, Hahn plants a kiss on Callie in front of him in the elevator. Instead of following Sloan out of the elevator, she follows Hahn. Derek asks Rose to have a more casual relationship with him and just have fun. Meredith walks into Dr. Wyatt's office and opens up about a time when her mother tried to kill herself. She tells the doctor to "fix her". Let's go.
